Loopy Dudes
Kodii.tv gave me an open brief to create four funky characters and said, “Go wild!” So I did, cooking up these weirdos. The goal was to create some original characters along with a unique story for each marketing various products to put the amazing 3d talent of Kodii.tv on display.
I’m incredibly grateful to them for letting me the reigns with the animation direction as I threw everything but the kitchen sink at them with ideas. Fortunately for them, they landed some big projects that put this labour of love in the back seat. Easily one of the most fun projects I’ve worked on! I’m looking forward to finishing atleast one of them in the future.

Once Kodii gave the thumbs-up on the Character Design, it was off to their skilled modeling team for some next-level C4D wizardry, armed with character sheets I put together. Their vision was a slick 2D/3D mix, so while they worked their magic in 3D, I crafted environments for the social posts, making sure everything meshed seamlessly with the vibe.
With the social posts wrapped up, I shifted gears to craft a unique story for each character. Marketing a different product to showcase Kodii’s 3D prowess, especially for pitching and landing marketing/product gigs. This is where I came alive! From Character Design to Storyboard to Animatic, I shaped each narrative, and once the team approved a sketch story, I dove straight into animatic mode to bring it to life. This project serves as a solid blueprint of my creative process. Enjoy!
Story 1
A breakdancer struggles to hit his moves, frustrated as his glasses flash, “No Vibes.” Defeated, he sets them down next to an energy drink—when suddenly, the can comes to life, nails the move, and the glasses now read “Cool Vibes.” Snapping out of it, the dancer realizes he was dreaming, chugs the drink, and—boom—he’s back in sync, landing the move. The shot ends with the energy drink rocking the cool glasses. Unfortunately the project was paused after I finished the boarding the dance. But please have a look through the rest of the stories!
Story 2
On a scorching day, a skater craves a boost—then remembers the energy beans stashed in her bag. She grabs a handful, and boom—flavor explosion! Her hair whips in the wind as the rush kicks in. She launches into the sky, nails an air grab, and lands smoothly, revealing the logo of the most iconic, flavor-packed jelly beans.
Story 3
After a grueling day at his desk, a drained employee slumps out of the office, arms dragging, music fading, motivation gone—definitely not a Friday vibe. But then—he reaches for an energy bar. Boom! A surge of energy kicks in. His headphones morph into a boombox, his jacket puffs into a slick puffer, and he lands with the boombox on his shoulder, fully recharged and ready to take on the week. The shot ends with the energy bar reveal.
Story 4
Drake, a wannabe baller, can’t sink a shot—until he grabs a sports hydration drink and boom—he’s supercharged! He zooms across the court, leaving energy trails, then slams it home like a pro. No way he’s missing that shot. The story ends with an electrified logo reveal.
